TinyTrak II and III
The circuit board and components were part of
the TinyTrak kit available at http://www.byonics.com/tinytrak. The PIC16F84 processor comes programmed with the
required firmware. A windows interface is available on the
website above for editing callsign, transmission rates, beacon,
etc.
Parts not included in the TinyTrak kit:
- Radio Shack Enclosure
- Wire
- SPDT Slide Switch
- Eight pin microphone receptical
- Extra 9 pin female DIN connector
- Female to Male gender changer
One possible method for assembly:

This TinyTrak Kit was assembled in one evening.
- An eight pin microphone receptical for portability wired
as a PK-88 to match my hardware.
- Coaxial Power Connector. (This should be placed on the
opposite side of the box as shown so that the TinyTrak
may plugged directly into the serial port for changing
variables.)
- The picture shows a gender changer mounted to a female 9
Pin DIN connector.

- Note the two screws on the right-hand side of the Radio
Shack box hold a minature slide switch to enable changing
the transmission rate.
- The clear plastic cover was simply cut from a bakery
container.
Happy tracking!
