I'm David Dobbins/K7GPS, and I live in the Spokane area. In 1996 I moved to western Washington and helped start the Northwest Automatic Position Reporting System (NWAPRS) with several others. I also hel create these NWAPRS web pages and manage them, along with the NWAPRS mailing list to keep our membership appraised of what's going on with APRS in the region. My main interest in ham radio is APRS. I have several APRS stations on the air on a regular basis, K7GPS is the downstairs home station, while K7GPS-13 is the upstairs station and provides data from a LaCrosse 2317 weather station. K7GPS-14 is another home station and -15 is the netbook. When mobile it's either -9 for the car or -4 for the Harley.

I'm a retired Navy Chief Warrant Officer Intelligence Technician, then spent the next 12 years in education as both a teacher and security director. Am presently looking for work, and hopeful something will come along in 2010.

My contact info is good in the Callbook, and of course k7gps@arrl.net always works.
